Responsibilities
Disaster Safety Coordinator:
- Responsible for coordinating safety measures during a disaster.
Disaster Branch/Committee Coordinator
- To coordinate Branch Captains.
- Responsible for putting into action, with each committee chairperson, the implementation of the service in the event of a disaster.
Communications:
- Resource person receiving and disseminating messages as they are received via walkie-talkie during a disaster.
Safety:
- Consisting of Search and Rescue, Damage Assessment and Fire Suppression in the event of a disaster. Duties as indicated under the committee guidelines
Branch Coordinators:
- Responsible for the communications to the neighbors in the branch.
- To inform the Disaster Group Coordinator of changes in their branch.
- To work with the committees in engaging the neighborhood in special projects.
Committees:
- To provide the services indicated.
- To meet, train and keep current in order to provide the services.
- To work with the Branch Coordinators to get their messages to the larger neighborhood.
